Space Nicks Animation – New Artwork

When I decided to redo my Space Nicks animation it was important to create new artwork to make viewing experience more enjoyable. With the original I stuck mainly with the artwork from the children’s book with a few exceptions. Those exceptions were two or three sketchy illustrations created on Quantel’s Paintbox. Personally, I feel they aged badly as they bear no resemblance to the gouache paintings I did for the book. With the limited number of illustrations several were used repeatedly.

Bigger, better, faster paced. 

I spent several months creating many new illustrations. This time taking great pains to make the new work in the same style as the original artwork. I think I was successful. Here’s a carousel of images from the new Space Nicks animation. Let me know what you think!
