I created both the original animation and this updated version for ABC News correspondent Robert Krulwich. It aired as part of Krulwich’s piece on Peter Jennings Bosnia 101 special on ABC-TV. All work was done on Quantel’s Hal with its amazing paint system.
UPDATE – I resized the original SD targa files in Photoshop CC from 720 x 486 to 1600 x 1080 for crisp HD viewing. Photoshop is balls amazing.
There’s an ‘Alfred Hitchcock’ moment in here. I inserted myself, painted to blend in with the Byzantine and classical paintings used in this ‘Terry Gilliam-style’ animation. I wonder how many people can spot me.
