Promoting Space Nicks for Autism Awareness Month

March 24, 2015 / no comments

Space Nicks HD is promoting Autism Awareness Month and have asked developers to take part by setting their app/s to free or reducing the price for a few days during the month of April. We will make our Saint Nick and the Space Nicks HD storybook app (iPad and Kindle Fire HD) available for the entire month of April for only .99¢ That is a 66% discount!

Our app normally sells for $2.99. The iPad version will be promoted on, but we will make sure that the Kindle Fire HD version also reflects the sale price.

‘Space Nicks’ is wonderfully narrated by NPR’s Robert Krulwich. Written by Richard Chase Mears. Illustrated, Animated and developed for Stubborn Pixel by Bill Westerfield

32 pages of whimsically detailed illustrations with hundreds of interactive buttons, visible and hidden, that trigger animations, draggle objects and silly sound effects that kids will love!.

‘Paint Nicks’! 5 coloring pages, now with even more colors to choose from! Children can spend hours coloring their favorite Space Nicks.

‘Space Nicks’ tells the story of how St. Nick meets Venick from Venus. Venick is a strange purple creature with long purple hair and is dressed exactly like St. Nick. Venick tells him that while delivering his own toys on Venus he tripped on a star and tumbled from near to afar, ending up lost here on Earth. Fearing he will not be able to complete his task, he asks for help. When St. Nick says yes, a whole new world of Christmas opens up to them.

From the original children’s book, Saint Nick and the Space Nicks is the hypothetical marriage between Clement Clark Moore’s ‘The Night before Christmas’ and Dr. Seuss! With Richard Mear’s smart and snappy writing and Bill’s whimsically detailed illustrations, they have created a wonderful new spin to the traditional Christmas story.

Blogging sucks….

It does. I’m not good at it. There are just a million other things to do.

Blogging Sucks

Blogging Sucks

This is my first post in 6 months. It’s not like I haven’t been nothing. I got my Etsy Store online with all the promo photos that go with it. Hell, I’m still working on the promo photos.

I’m on the 4th draft of my first full length book. I don’t want to say too much about that because then I won’t be able to do a separate post about it. I’ll just say it’s good. Lol.

So to repeat myself, blogging sucks. But I’ll do my best.
